Geography

Through the town flows the Haslach, a right tributary of the Beavers. Großhaslach lies between two forest areas in the west and in the east the forest Haslacher the Ketteldorfer forest.

History

Großhaslach is regarded as one of the earliest settlements between Ansbach and Nuremberg, according to tradition, is said to have found a church there before the year 800.
