Großschweidnitzer water in hell reason

The Großschweidnitzer Water is the source stream of the left Löbauer water.

The water produced in Neuschönberg from a number of smaller streams which flow from the source areas on Mount Seidel, Hutberg and Fichtelbergbahn and in 355 m asl unite. In the course of the waters to the northeast extends the village Dürrhennersdorf where the left side flows to the coming of Schönenbach Schönbacher water.

Between Dürrhennersdorf and Großschweidnitz the creek flows through a narrow valley, the hell reason. In 266 meters above sea level flows also coming from the left, at the manor Großschweidnitz the litte one. In the lower reaches of the stream is Kleinschweidnitz. The Großschweidnitzer water is richer than the water source Bach occasionally attributed to the Löbauer water.

The original fish-rich stream was from Großschweidnitz heavily polluted since the mid-19th century through there set up textile factories, so that the stock of fish perished.
