Group Home
Group Home is a New York hip-hop duo consisting of members Lil ' Dap (born James Heath ) and Melachi the Nutcracker (born Jamal fields). They were known as members of the Gang Starr Foundation, together with the transition - Starr members DJ Premier & Guru, and MC's Afu Ra, Bahamadia, Big Shug and Jeru The Damaja. Lil ' Dap made his debut on transition Starr's 1992 album Daily Operation, in the song " I'm The Man ". Both members were together on Gang Starr 's 1994 erschienenem Hard to Earn, to listen to the songs "Speak Ya Clout " and "Words From The Nutcracker ". In 1995, Group Home released her debut album "Livin ' Proof". The album was produced by DJ Premier. The duo released his second album " A Tear For The Ghetto " in 1999.
Lil Dap, the frontman of the duo had announced in 2006 to release a solo album, as Melachi serving time in prison. This album is, however, never appeared, instead the album " IA -DAP " from Lil Dap was published in 2008.
