Gruma

Gruma is a Mexican company with headquarters in Monterrey, Nuevo León to the northeast of the country.

As a food producer, the Mexican company Gruma has specialized in the production of tortillas and pasta made from corn. The company was founded in 1949. Today it is the world's largest producer of corn flour and tortillas. Currently, Gruma is led by Javier Vélez Bautista. The 2012 Roberto González Barrera deceased entrepreneur led and shaped the company over many decades. Around 20,000 people are employed in the company. Subsidiaries include Gimsa and Molinera de México.
