Grünauer BC

The Gruenauer BC 1917 is a German football club based in Berlin- Grunau in the district of Treptow- Köpenick. Homestead of the Association is the sports field Buntzelberg.

Association

The Gruenauer BC was founded in 1917. Highest league until 1945 was the second-class Berlin district league, in which the GBC in 1935 ascended.

After the Second World War, the club was dissolved and re-established as SG Falkenberg. Already in the season 1945/46, Grunau took part in qualifying for the Berlin city league, but failed clearly to the last place. In the period following the Berliners stood before several name changes. TSV 1948 in Berlin- Bohnsdorf and in 1950 in SVGG Grunau. On sports SVGG Grunau achieved promotion to the East German league in the season 1950/51. The second- highest division of the GDR had to leave as severed Table Grunau again after just one season. In the season 1952/53, the SVGG Grunau formed with that remaining part of the SG Union Oberschoeneweide a gaming community that is not traded as BSG Motor Oberschoeneweide since the summer of 1951 and in the season 1951/52, played in the national class Berlin, and went for a season as SpG Grunau Union Oberschoeneweide to.

In the summer of 1953, both clubs were divided and while the SG Grunau kicked 1953/54 ( 5th place) in the Berlin district league, the SG Union Oberschoeneweide was ( dissolved 1972) incorporated for the season 1953/54, in the Season A Berlin city class. The SG Grunau won the 1958 District League of Berlin and grew up in the DDR II league. In the former East German third-highest division, the Berlin were able to establish to the dissolution of DDR II league. Once again, followed by more name changes, starting in 1962 in Berlin and Lufthansa a year later in BSG aviation Berlin.

The BSG aviation Berlin acted according to the new division of the third leagues from 1963 to 1991 continuously in the city, later District League Berlin. The after the turn again returned to its historical name, Gruenauer BC 1917 Club was integrated into the Berlin State League. After intermediate descents to the circle class of GBC is currently playing in the national league Berlin (season ).
