The Grundy County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2010, the County had 10,261 inhabitants and a population density of 9 people per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Trenton.

The County is located in northern Missouri and is in the north about 40 miles from Iowa away. It has an area of 1134 square kilometers, of which 6 square kilometers is water area. At the Grundy County borders the following Nachbarcountys:

History

The Grundy County was formed in 1841. It was named for Felix Grundy (1777-1840), a former U.S. senator (1829-1838) and Minister of Justice ( 1838-1840 ).
