Grupo Marsans

The Grupo Marsan was a Spanish tourist and aerospace company. It belonged to the Spanish entrepreneur Gerardo Diaz Ferran, the former owner of Spanair, Air Comet and Viajes Marsans. He has been arrested for concealment of assets and money laundering on December 3, 2012.

The company was founded in 1908 in Barcelona. She was active in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina and had over 12,000 employees. The Group offered on flights, hotels and holiday trips. On 20 April 2010 the IATA withdrew ( International Air Transport Association) " Viajes Marsans " the license for the sale of airline tickets.
