Grzegorz Dolniak
Grzegorz Dolniak ( born February 17, 1960 in Będzin; † 10 April 2010 Smolensk, Russia) was a Polish politician ( Platforma Obywatelska ).
Since 23 September 2001, he was a member of the party Platforma Obywatelska in the Sejm. He was elected with 5,796 and 12,151 votes from the constituency 32 Sosnowiec. He died 10 April 2010 in the plane crash near Smolensk, when he - an event to commemorate the Katyn massacre was on the way - among others, along with President Lech Kaczyński. Dolniak left a wife.
Posthumously Dolniak was awarded on 16 April 2010 the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta ( Krzyż Komandorski Orderu Odrodzenia Polski ).
