Grzegorz Napieralski

Grzegorz Napieralski? / I ( born March 18, 1974 in Szczecin ) is a Polish politician, since 2004 Member of the Sejm in the IV, V and VI. Election period and between 2008 and 2011 Chairman of the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Democratic Left Alliance - SLD).

For the constituency 41 Stettin ( Szczecin), he was again on 25 September 2005 as the candidate of the Union of Democratic Left and in the 2007 parliamentary elections on 21 October 2007 as the candidate of the electoral alliance Left and Democrats ( Lewica i Demokraci ) with 29 585 votes in the Sejm elected, in which he was a member from 2004 onwards. In the VI. Election period, he is a member of the Sejm Commission on National and Ethnic Minorities.

He graduated in 2000 with a degree in political science at the University of Szczecin. In the years 1994 to 1995 he was a technical staff member in the Graphic Works " Kema ". From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a marketing manager in the company " Reemtsma Polska SA " From 1999 to 2001 he was secretary of the parliamentary offices of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( West Pomeranian ). From 2002 to 2004 he held the role of adviser to the voivode in the Provincial Office of Western Pomerania and was a member of the City Council of Stettin.

Napieralski was also on 29 May 2005, the Secretary General of the SLD. On 31 May 2008, he sat down surprisingly in a crucial vote against Wojciech Olejniczak through and was elected chairman of the party.

On 22 April 2008 he became a member of the newly formed group Lewica.

On 22 April 2010 Napieralski announced his candidacy for election to the office of President of the Republic of Poland, which take place preferred due to the death Lech Kaczynski in the plane crash near Smolensk. In the election on 20 June 2010, it reached 13.7 % of the vote and was Bronisław Komorowski and Jaroslaw Kaczynski claimed third. With the required run-off election on July 4, 2010, he did not come to that. He joined on 10 December 2011 due to the worst result in the history of his party in the parliamentary elections of 2011.
