Grzegorz Podstawek

Grzegorz Podstawek ( born June 25, 1979 in Wrocław ) is a Polish footballer who is currently at KS Polkowice under contract.

Career

His professional career began in 1999 at Slask Wroclaw Podstawek. But as so often in his career he did not stay long and moved already to the second round to Karkonosze Jelenia Góra. Then he played a season for Pogoń Oleśnica and moved to the second round on loan to Bishop FV 08 In the 2001 /02 season he played one season then again for his former club Pogoń Oleśnica. In 2002, the striker played for Polar Wroclaw, where he scored 14 goals in 32 games. The following year, he made 16 games for Arka Gdynia and scored one goal. But even there it took him only half a year, before moving to Stasiak Opoczno in the second half. After half the year there was over, Podstawek joined KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and met five times in 28 games. For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to Podbeskidzie Bielsko -Biała, for which he played 30 matches and scored seven goals. In 2006 he moved to his current club Polonia Bytom, where he promoted to the Ekstraklasa also managed in his first season with the team. In the Ekstraklasa, the top Polish league, he scored for Polonia Bytom in 95 games scoring 20 goals. After the disappointing relegation in the season 2010/2011, Podstawek changed his employer and went to league rivals Gornik Polkowice.
