Gsengetstein
The Gsengetstein with Kirchdorf im Wald
The Gsengetstein (951 m) is one of the smaller mountains in the Bavarian Forest, which is located in a less-visited mountain ridge between the villages Rinchnach, Kirchdorf im Wald and Frauenau.
On its rocky summit stands a large wooden cross, the view is to the southwest. Although the Gsengetstein rises directly above the busy B 85, it is rarely visited and is an idyllic rest stop. Possible increases begin in Kirchdorf im Wald, percussion, reed or Gehmannsberg at the famous church Frauenbrünnl.
