The Guadaíra is a river in the province of Seville in Andalusia, in southern Spain. His name contains the same root word guad as the much larger river Guadalquivir. The root word comes from the Arabic word wadi, meaning " river valley "

The river runs through the city of Alcalá de Guadaíra in the southeastern area of Seville. The upper water supply of the river lies in the east and southeast of the city. The river flows beneath and south of Seville as a left tributary of the Guadalquivir. On the south side of the river is located near the city of the great park Oromana.

Large amounts of foam and an unpleasant odor are not uncommon on this river in winter. The river was polluted many years with the by-products of olive oil cultivation and other waste materials. Nevertheless, the flow for the life of wild animals is a refuge; the banks of the river are of trees, are to share in parks and forests. In recent years, the provincial government of Andalusia has been able to significantly improve the ecology of the Guadaíra. An exhibition in the Peru Pavilion at an Exhibition ( Las Americas from 1929) in Seville are witness thereof.
