Guadalupe or Ciudad Guadalupe is a town in the Mexican state of Nuevo León with 669 842 inhabitants ( 2000). Ciudad Guadalupe is located on an area of 118.73 km ² to 500 m above sea level. NN. Ciudad Guadalupe is a suburb in the east of Monterrey, the capital of the state of Nuevo León. The city is, and others accessible via the two international airports of Monterrey.
History
The city was founded on January 4, 1716, but the country was inhabited long before that. In 1627 the country was turned into large plantations and cultivated sugar cane and corn.
