Guajará-Mirim
Guajará -Mirim is a municipality in Rondonia, a state in the north of Brazil, adjacent to the Brazilian states of Amazonas and Mato Grosso and Bolivia. Guajará -Mirim has 41 467 inhabitants ( 2005) and is 24,856 km ².
During construction of the " Estrada de Ferro Madeira - Marmoré " (Madeira - Mamore Railway ) died thousands of workers. It is therefore referred to as the " Death Railway " and perverse to 1972 on the 364 km long stretch of the Madeira River in the city Guajará -Mirim on the Río Mamoré.
