Guanajuato

The state of Guanajuato is located in north-central Mexico. He has 4.855 million inhabitants on 30,491 km ². Capital city is Guanajuato. Vicente Fox was here governor before his election as President.

Guanajuato is one of the most economically dynamic states whose growth rates are regularly above the national average. The major industrial cities of León, Acámbaro, Irapuato and Celaya residing in that state.

Due to the high silver deposit was Guanajuato, Central Mexico and by the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, one of the first areas that were colonized by the Spaniards in the 1520s.
