Guangqi Honda
Guangzhou - Honda (Chinese:广州 本田) is a Chinese automobile brand that originated from the failed joint venture Guangzhou - Peugeot. 1998 factory production of the 150-hp Guangzhou - Honda HG 7230 was recorded. This is a licensed version of the then-current Honda Accord ( U.S. version ). At a price of about 65,000 German Mark it will be delivered there as standard with 2.3 -liter engine, ABS, cruise control and airbags. Since 2001 there is also a station wagon version. Every year, about 50,000 vehicles of the model 's work. In 2002, the engine range was two V4 engines complements the driver offer 147 or 200 hp. In the same year the model program by the Guangzhou - Honda Odyssey has been added. This is offered with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and an output of 147 hp. 2003 HG 7230 was replaced by the new Guangzhou - Honda Accord. This is now with 147-240 hp on offer. The V6 version of the Accord is also 15 inches longer than the original Japanese version. At the same time was also the production of the Guangzhou Honda Fit. In summer 2009, the Guangzhou - Honda City was added a new model. This has the same engine as the Odyssey. For the 2010 model year, the Accord received a facelift in China and is now offered in a wider variety. But also the fit was subjected to small retouching. The notchback saloon variant was deleted from the model program. The Van Odyssey has received a more aggressive styling for the new model year and the RB4 generation was technically aligned. With these changes, Honda hopes to gain a greater sales on the Chinese market.
