Guards! Guards! ( English title: Guards Guards! ) Is a novel by Terry Pratchett. It is the eighth Discworld novel and the first, which deals with the City Watch of Ankh -Morpork. Guards! Guards! was released in 1989. The main protagonists are Captain Vimes, the alcoholic, and a naive recruit named Carrot Eisengiessersohn forming a congenial duo in all later City Watch novels.

Action
