Guerrillero Heroico

The image guerrilla Heroico ( " heroic guerrillas " ) shows the revolutionary Che Guevara in a thoughtful pose with a beret on his head and is considered the most famous photographic image of a person. The original version is a photograph by Alberto Korda, which in Havana (Cuba ) was taken on March 5, 1960.

A more familiar version of the photo is a picture, which focuses as a motive only on the face of Che and as a template for the world's best-known version of the photo is: an alienated by Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick tri-color version of the image section that is predominantly black / white is used worldwide on a red background as an imprint of t-shirts, banners, posters, button, tattoo design, etc..

The Communist Italian publisher Feltrinelli Giangiacomo brought the image from Cuba and made the first in Europe for dissemination.
