GuGabriel

GuGabriel is the stage name of the Austrian musician, pop singer and actress Gudrun Liemberger (* 1973 in Freistadt as Gudrun Gabriele Machowetz ).

She grew up in Weitra, where she was taught in singing, guitar, violin, piano and flute and studied musical at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

She was a member, guitarist and lead singer of the pop bands Galahad (from 1999 ), The Shepherds (from 2001) and had great success with SheSays ( 2004-2009). After the dissolution of SheSays they began in 2010 with the project " GuGabriel " ( made ​​up of her first name, Gudrun and Gabriele together). For the album Anima ( l) GuGabriel won the European Border Breakers Award, the most successful song was previously Salvation, the 19th place achieved in the Austrian charts.

As an actress, she appeared in films such as To Suck (2003), potio (2007), Joe ( poor little match girl - 2008) or Soko Donau ( 2009).
