The Lowland rocks Hahn, Guyana Clip bird, Cayenne Clip bird or Orange rock cock ( Rupicola rupicola ) is one of two species of the genus of the rocks cocks clip or birds ( Rupicola ).

Features

The Lowland rocks Hahn has a squat shape and sturdy feet. The males have a bright bright orange plumage with a broad fan-shaped tuft, which extends over the head and the beak almost completely covered. They are about deaf large, 32 to 35 cm long and colored bright orange. The wings are black with white mirrors. The tail is schokaladenbraun and running out of orange. The female is olive-gray colored, tail and wings are brown, only the under wing coverts are orange -colored light.

Occurrence

The lowland rock cock occurs in Guyana, South Venezuela and in the Rio Negro. He lived there the tropical and subtropical forest, preferably in mountainous and waters rich areas.
