Guido Chiesa

Guido Chiesa ( born November 18, 1959 in Turin ) is an Italian film director.

Life

Chiesa held since 1983 in the United States and worked with Jim Jarmusch Stranger Than Paradise at and Down By Law; then he began with the staging of the first short films and video clips. In addition, he also wrote books. After returning to his native country in 1992, he turned his first full-length feature film, Il caso Martello, with whom he won the grolla d' oro.

In addition, he works erratically for the cinema, in the main, he turned more short films and documentaries. His films are characterized by passionate research and often deal with the recent Italian history.

In 2008 he staged the elaborate television mini-series Quo Vadis.
