Guido De Santi

Guido De Santi ( born May 16, 1923 in Trieste, † October 30, 1998 ) was an Italian cyclist.

Guido De Santi was professional racing drivers of 1947 until 1957. 1949 he won the race Milan - Modena and was second in the Trofeo Baracchi, together with Antonio Bevilacqua. In 1951, he won the overall classification of the Tour of Germany, in the following year, he finished fifth in this race. Also in 1951 he won at Tre Valli Varesine. In 1953 he contributed three days the Maglia Rosa in the Giro d' Italia and finished eighth in the overall standings and third from Bordeaux - Paris. From 1948 to 1950, he started three times in the Tour de France, 1949, he was 55, so that last and support the Red Lantern.

In his hometown of Trieste was the street where he had lived, called him " Belvedere Guido De Santi ".
