Guido Reybrouck

Guido Reybrouck ( born December 25, 1941 in Bruges ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

Guido Reybrouck was a professional racing car driver, 1964 to 1973. His first professional race was the Championship of Zurich, he immediately won. In the same year he won Paris- Tours, which he won in 1966 and 1968 two more times. 1965 Reybrouck first at Kuurne -Brussels- Kuurne, the year after Belgian road champion and second in the Tour of Flanders. In 1969 he took first place at the Amstel Gold Race. He scored addition, numerous stage wins in the major tours.

After the end of his active cycling career Guido Reybrouck opened a car wash in Knokke and was sports director of the team " Ebo - Cinzia ". Together with his brother Wilfried he opened a bicycle wholesaler named " Fangio " ( the name of his son ) and sponsored a cycling team of the same name, which existed from 1979 to 1987.

Family

Guido Reybrouck comes from a family of cyclists: He is the nephew of Gustave Danneels, who is also three times won Paris-Tours. His brother Wilfried was a successful racing driver. His son Fangio founded together with Johan Museeuw, the company " Museeuw Bikes".
