Guillaume de Joinville

Guillaume de Joinville († November 6, 1226 ) was an archbishop of Reims since 1219.

Guillaume was born into the family of the lords of Joinville from the Champagne region. He was a younger son of the Lord Gottfried IV († 1190 ). His nephew Jean de Joinville († 1317 ) was the biographer of King Louis IX. of the saint.

1191 Guillaume was Archdeacon of Châlons -en -Champagne, 1210, he was elected bishop of Langres and became a peer of France.
