Guillaume Lefebvre

Guillaume Lefebvre (born 7 May 1981 in Amos, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the EC Graz 99ers of the Austrian Hockey League since 2011.

Career

Guillaume Lefebvre began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, in which he de Rouyn -Noranda to 2001 was active from 1998 for the Cataractes de Shawinigan, Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Remparts de Québec and Huskies. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round in 2000 when a total of 227 players from the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phantoms for their farm team, he gave towards the end of the 2000/01 season his debut in the American Hockey League. In the following two years, the winger played mainly for the Phantoms in the AHL, while he was in parallel with 17 appearances for the Flyers in the National Hockey League. On 10 March 2003, he was first transferred to the Phoenix Coyotes, who only a day later turn charges him to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In their AHL farm team Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, he was a regular in the next three years. He also came to Pittsburgh even further 21 appearances in the NHL, where he scored two goals and had four assists.

From 2006 to 2008 Lefebvre played for the Summum - Chiefs de Saint -Jean -sur -Richelieu in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey. He then spent one season each with the AHL teams Springfield Falcons and Providence Bruins, where he in a game for their cooperation partners Boston Bruins in the NHL was during his time in Providence parallel to the ice. The 2010/11 season spent the Canadians at the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL and participated with his team as host at the ECHL All-Star Game. He was obliged by the EC Graz 99ers of the Austrian Hockey League for the 2011/12 season.
