Guillaume Rufin

Life and career

2005-2008: Success as a junior and first world ranking points

As a junior Guillaume Rufin won in the years 2005, 2006 and 2007, the French Championships of the respective age group. In addition, since 2006 he went to international junior tournaments, where he won in 2007 and 2008 several titles over the years. 2010: First ATP quarter-final, injury worries

In February 2010, Rufin got for the ATP tournament in Marseille a wildcard, and could after beating Laurent Recouderc and Yannick Mertens reach the quarter- finals, where he lost narrowly to Mischa Zverev. 2011: Comeback

In March 2011, Guillaume Rufin celebrated at a Futures tournament in Spain after more than four months of his comeback. In April 2011 he won in Chile two consecutive futures title. When ATP tournament in Nice Rufin succeeded in May 2011, the qualification, but he left in the first round against Pere Riba from. For the French Open, he got like two years before a wildcard, and won his first round match against the top 100 player Adrian Mannarino smooth in three sets.
