Guillermo Imhoff

Sergio Guillermo Imhoff ( born October 11, 1982 in San Jerónimo Norte) is an Argentine footballer who played until December 2010 when Swiss club FC Sion.

Career

Luis Guillermo Imhoff began his career with Argentine club Colon CA. There he graduated in two years, 14 games and scored one goal. He was then loaned to Huracán de Tres Arroyos 2005. After eleven games ended his loan period and from 2005 to 2006, he was awarded to CA Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy. There, he played 14 games. In 2006 he returned to CA Colón, but he came after only four games.

In the summer of 2007 Imhoff graduated from a multi-day trial with FC Wacker Innsbruck. Despite language barriers Imhoff was particularly impressed by his leadership qualities in the back four, and finally received a one-year contract. After he had completed only four games after the one year, he joined the Bolivian club Club Jorge Wilstermann. There he was able to get a regular place and played from 2009 to 2010 a total of 29 games and scored one goal for the first time. In January 2010 he returned to Europe and moved to Switzerland for FC Sion. He signed a contract until 2012.
