Guinean presidential election, 1961
The presidential election in Guinea in 1961 took place on 15 January 1961. It was the first Head of State since the proclamation of the independence of the country on October 2, 1958. Selects only the Parti Démocratique de Guinée Unity Party was admitted.
Incumbent Ahmed Sékou Touré was confirmed unopposed in his office.
