Gulf Traveller (Arabic مسافر الخليج, DMG Musafir al - ḫalīǧ ) was a subsidiary of Gulf Air in Bahrain and offered exclusively Economy flights.

History

Gulf Traveller was founded on 1 June 2003 as a subsidiary of Gulf Air and is part of a conducted there three-year plan to restructure the airline. Gulf Traveller was provided therein for service on routes where only a small interest in First or Business Class passengers exists. The first flight of the airline was held to Jeddah on 13 June 2003 from Abu Dhabi. History wrote the airline so that a female pilot was hired in this region for the first time. As Gulf Air Gulf Traveller was led by the three emirates of Abu Dhabi, Oman and Bahrain. However, only Oman Air rose Abu Dhabi 2005 this consortium of, then in May 2007, so Bahrain became the sole owner of the airline. This caused that the fleet again went to Gulf Air and the flight has ceased operations.

Objectives

Gulf Traveller joined Bahrain and Muscat with targets in the Arabian Peninsula, Iran, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Indonesia.

Fleet

The fleet consisted of several Gulf Traveller Boeing 767 -300ER.
