Gulou District, Nanjing

Gulou (鼓楼 区/鼓楼 区) is a district of the city of Nanjing in China's Jiangsu Province. Its area is 57.62 km ² and it has about 1.270.00 inhabitants ( 2010). In Gulou, the 318.5 -meter-high Jiangsu Nanjing TV Tower and the 450 -meter-high Greenland Square Zifeng Tower is located. The present city of Gulou District went in February 2013 from the union of the old city district Gulou forth with the former borough XiaGuan.
