Gumaca, Quezon

Gumaca is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 69 618 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 59 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines.

Gumaca is located in the south of the bay of Lamon, at the coast are smaller mangrove forests. Your neighboring municipalities are Atimonan and Plaridel in the west, and Pitogo Unisan in the south, Lopez in the east. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes.

Gumaca is connected via the Maharlika Highway and the railway with the Bicol region and the capital region of Metro Manila. The daily rail links operated by the Philippine National Railways.
