Gundadalur is a sports stadium in the Faroe Islands. Located in the capital Tórshavn sports facility is used primarily for football matches.

History and use

Gundadalur was built in 1911, later a synthetic grass surface was laid out as a playing field. The stadium, with its up to 5,000, is used by local clubs and HB Tórshavn Tórshavn B36 as a home venue in the Faroese league football and in international matches. Until the inauguration of Tórsvøllur as a pure seat stadium with up to 7,000 seats in 2000 it was the largest stadium in the capital.

The national football association Fótbóltssamband Føroya has its headquarters at the stadium since 2003.
