Gungartan

The Gungartan is a mountain in the Australian Alps in the Australian state of New South Wales. The mountain is located outside the Main Range of the Great Dividing Range in Kosciuszko National Park. There are the mountains Mount Tate, Mount Jagungal, Back Perisher Mountain, Mount Twynam, Mt Perisher and Carruthers Peak in its immediate vicinity.

The mountain summit is often hiked in the summer because it allows a good view of the national parks surrounding it. Since it is mostly covered in snow in winter, it is a destination for skiing.
