Gunsan

( Also written Kunsan ) Gunsan is an industrial city in southwest Korea. It is famous because of the Daewoo plant. Other industries that are mainly at an artificially bloated area, are chemical companies (BASF, AkzoNobel ), engineering and suppliers for the automotive industry.

In the south of the city, a marriage palace is situated on a lake, through the love bridge was built.

Tourist Gunsan is barely tapped.

From the harbor, a ferry service to the Seonyudo and Gogunsan islands is possible. Tourist also barely tapped, but the islands offer beautiful scenic bays and hills.

In the immediate vicinity of the town is the Kunsan Air Base, a military base of the U.S. Air Force, one of the U.S. military bases in the Asia Pacific, in addition to Okinawa in Japan.
