Günter Ruch

Günter Ruch ( born August 19, 1956 in Sinzig, Rhineland -Palatinate, † December 18, 2010 in Bad Neuenahr- Ahrweiler ) was a German writer, journalist, former politician of the FDP and author of contemporary, fantastic and historical novels. He lived in Bad Neuenahr- Ahrweiler, where he died on December 18, 2010 from cancer.

Ruch's early work has often autobiographical character, the previously unpublished contemporary novels The parasite (1982, Rheinische trilogy I), 18, 20, passe ... (1987, Rheinische Trilogy II), The Man on the Mountain (1989, Rheinische Trilogy III), Mala (1992 ), the alphabet of earthworms (1995) and grandson (1999).

Günter Ruch was a member of the circle of authors historical novel Quo Vadis.
