Gunungapi Wetar

Gunungapi ( indonesian Pulau Gunungapi, German volcano, sometimes Gunungapi Wetar ) is a small Indonesian island in the Banda Sea.

Gunungapi is located about 100 km north of the island and 365 km south-southwest of Wetar Ambon. It is composed of the stratovolcano, which rises 282 meters above the sea level. From the seafloor of measured, the volcano reaches 5000 m. The last eruption took place in 1512 and 1699.

Gunungapi belongs to the province of Maluku and is uninhabited.
