Guo Dan

Guo Dan (Chinese郭 丹, Pinyin Guo Dan, born 20 December 1985) is a Chinese archer. It belonged to the Chinese squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and won the silver medal in the team competition.

Career

Guo Dan reached at the 2005 World Championships in Madrid in fifth place with the team. When two years later held in Leipzig World Cup they could with the team this result does not hold and finished seventh. In the individual competition of the World Cup 2007 Guo Dan was ranked 13th this year, they also reached with the team good World Cup finishes with a third place in Antalya and a first place in Varese.

She was a member of the Chinese team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. There, she participated with the team and in singles. With the former Guo Dan survived the quarter-final against India with 211 to 206 and was also in the semifinals prevail against Great Britain.
