Guo Zhengxin

Guo Zhengxin ( born August 1, 1979 in Harbin ) is a former Chinese figure skater, who started in a single run.

Guo Zhengxin belonged next to Zhang Min and Li Chengjiang to the first generation of Chinese individual runners who have established themselves in the enlarged world leader in the mid- 1990s. He was in Brisbane third in the Junior World Championships and repeated this success the following year in Seoul in 1996. Thus he is the first male individual runners who could win a medal at an ISU Championship for China. He was considered by leaps and strong, but weak in the presentation. Guo is the first figure skater who successfully jumped two quadruple Toeloops in the same skating program. He is also the first runner who showed a Vierfachtoeloop - Doppeltoeloop combination at the Olympic Games.
