Gus Bilirakis

Gus Michael Bilirakis ( born February 8, 1963 in Gainesville, Florida) is an American politician. Since 2007 he represents the state of Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Between 1981 and 1983, visited Gus Bilirakis, St. Petersburg Junior College. Subsequently, he studied until 1986 at the University of Florida in Gainesville political science. After a subsequent law degree from Stetson University and his made ​​in 1989 admitted to the bar he began to work in his new profession. He specialized in probate and real estate law. Politically, Bilirakis joined the Republican Party. He supported the election campaigns of his father Michael, who represented 1983-2007 the ninth congressional district of the state of Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives. Between 1998 and 2006 Gus Bilirakis sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Florida.
