Gustav Fuchs

Gustav Fuchs ( born January 2, 1900 in Kraisdorf, † March 21, 1969 in Bamberg ) was a German politician of the CSU.

Life and career

After attending elementary school graduated Fuchs, the Roman Catholic faith was an agricultural training and took over the family farm in 1925. In both world wars, he was a soldier. He was involved after the Second World War to the re- establishment of the Bavarian Farmers' Association from 1953 to 1969 and President of the District Association of Lower Franconia.

Policy

Fuchs, in the Weimar Republic Member of the BVP, after 1945 was one of the founders of the CSU district boars. From 1945 to 1946 he served as mayor of his home town and was Kraisdorf boars in the district since 1948 Member of District Assembly.

He belonged to the German Bundestag since his first election from 1949 to 1961 and has always been directly elected in the constituency of Bad Kissingen. From 1964 to 1969 he was also a member of the Bavarian Senate.
