Gustav Hugo ( born November 23, 1764 in Lörrach, † September 15, 1844 in Göttingen ) was a German lawyer.

Life

Gustav Conrad Hugo was the son of Baden Country writer Johann Michael Hugo (1718-1799) and Sophia Elizabeth H., born Morstadt ( 1725-1784 ). From the high school in Karlsruhe, he went in 1782 to the University of Göttingen, where he spent three years studying law.
