Gustav Humbert

Gustav Humbert ( born February 1950 in Celle ) is a German manager and was from July 2005 to July 2006 CEO of Airbus.

Life

Humbert attended high school Taught. After high school he studied at the Technical University of Hanover Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In 1979 he completed his doctorate there. At age 30, he discovered the aircraft for themselves and later headed the Hamburg Airbus plant. This EADS site he modernized during the 1990s. On his account is about the cabin interior of the Airbus A380 in Hamburg.

On 2 July 2006, announced that both Humbert and the co-head of the parent company EADS, Noël Forgeard have to give up due to the severe crisis of the company by delays in the planned delivery of the Airbus A380 beginning their posts.
