Gustav Klinger

Gustav Klinger (Russian Густав Гаспарович Клингер; * 1876, † around 1937 ) was a German socialist and Soviet politician ( CPSU ). As representatives of the Volga German colonists he was in the Comintern.

He worked in 1918 in Saratov, Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic of the Volga Germans in Kommissarat for Volga German affairs under the guidance of the German socialist Ernst Reuter and Charles Petin.

In the early 1930s, he was diplomatic representative of the USSR in Estonia.

During the Stalinist purges Klinger was arrested and shot around 1937.
