Gustavo Franchin Schiavolin

Gustavo Franchin Schiavolin ( born February 19, 1982 in Campinas ), known by his stage name Gustavo, is a Brazilian footballer.

Gustavo began his professional career in 1999 at the Guarani FC. Soon there was the possibility of a move to Europe, where he signed a contract with Levski Sofia. He played there only rare, but has been Bulgarian football champions. In January 2003, he got a contract with Dynamo Moscow, but could not prevail there as well and only came on eight missions.

Then he returned to Brazil in September 2003. At first, he played at Goias EC, before joining AA Ponte Preta in December. In 2005 he was for Clube de Regatas Brasil in Maceió in Alagoas on the ball From January to December 2006, he played for Paraná Clube and won the state championship of Paraná there.

During the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 Gustavo moved to FC Schalke 04, but appeared not to start training and refused to continue to play for the club. In April of the same year he was presented to the Brazilian first division club Palmeiras São Paulo as a new signing. This affair caused a legal dispute fabric.

With Palmeiras he won the 2008 State Championship of São Paulo. With the beginning of 2009 he moved to Cruzeiro, with whom he won the 2009 State Championship of Minas Gerais.

In July 2010, he signed on loan at Lecce, the club has also pledged a purchase option.
