Gutkeled

The Gutkeled (variants: Good - Keled, Guthkeled, Guth - Keled ) were a family or a clan (Latin generatio ) of the Hungarian nobility. From them are descended from a number of Hungarian noble families. In the early 14th century included the Gutkeled the influential oligarchs of the Hungarian small kingdoms.

The original source of the origin of Gutkeled is the Gesta Hungarorum of Simon of keza:

The castle " substances " is probably a corruption of " Stauf " and refers to either Staufen castle in Staufen im Breisgau or Hohenstaufen Castle in Württemberg. The king is mentioned Peter Orseolo of Hungary ( King 1038-1041 and 1044-1046 ).
