Coat of arms

On 15 December 2004, the two congregations voted on a common crest. The result was a merging of the two local coat of arms. However, since the community law demands that the choice of a coat of arms has to be done by a ballot, the population had to proceed to the election on 18 April 2010 again. Here, the voters opted for a new common crest. On 12 September 2010 the new church was consecrated banner. The Foundation Swiss flags and coats of arms criticized the first version of the new coat of arms as un - heraldic and inappropriate.

The current coat of arms shows a shepherd's crook, a three- mountain and a sun. During the pastoral staff for the sacred spiral and thus Guttet stands represents the sun and the stylized mountain Feschel.
