Guus Hiddink

Guus Hiddink ( [ ɣy ː s hɪdɪŋk ], born November 8, 1946 in Varsseveld, community wiping ) is a former Dutch football player and current coach.

Career as a player

Guus Hiddink began his professional career as a defender in 1967 VBV De Graafschap Doetinchem, played among others at PSV Eindhoven and in the North American Soccer League.

Career as a coach

After the end of his active career Hiddink was from 1981 to at De Graafschap as an assistant coach working. At PSV Eindhoven he worked from July 1982 to June 1986 as an assistant coach before he became coach in March 1987.
