Guy A. Sautter

Guy A. Sautter (* 1886 in Switzerland, † 29 October 1961, in Donhead St. Andrew, Wiltshire, also known as Comte de Beauregard Sautter ) was a Swiss tennis and badminton players.

Sporting career

Guy A. Sautter was one of the greatest badminton player of the second decade of the 20th century. As the only Swiss, he won the prestigious All England, in the winners' list, he will, however, performed as an Englishman. Overall, he was successful at the All England three times in singles, two in mixed doubles and once in doubles. In addition, Sautter won the French Open, the Open Scotland and the Irish Open. Sautter started at some events under the pseudonym UN Lapin - which translates from French here, " a rabbit " means.

Sautter started for Switzerland as a tennis player in the Davis Cup.
