Guy Davidi

Guy Davidi ( born July 9, 1978 in Jaffa, Tel Aviv) is an Israeli film director, film producer and cameraman focuses on documentaries and short films.

Life and career

Guy Davidi was born in 1978 in Tel Aviv, Israel. When he was ten years old, his father died and the family moved north to Kfar Saba. From 2000, he studied at the Tel Aviv University Cinema School, which he left after a year. In the years 2002 and 2003 Davidi lived in Paris.

In 2001, he worked as a cameraman for the Israeli television film My Last Novel. For the French documentary Les souvenantes Guy Davidi was also responsible as a cameraman. For the documentary Working In Progress, A Gift from heaven, Zramim Ktu'im and keywords he worked as a cameraman and director. At the Academy Awards in 2013 Guy Davidi got together with Emad Burnat a nomination for Best Documentary.
