Guy Ligier

Guy Ligier ( born July 12, 1930 in Vichy, France ) is a French former Formula 1 racing driver.

Guy Ligier began his athletic career as a rugby player, said he came up to the French national team. Later he went motorcycle racing and Formula Junior, 1966 and 1967, then in Formula 1

Ligier was reported in 13 Grand Prix in the 1966 and 1967 seasons and could be 12 times qualify for the launch. He went to each on their own and started in Formula 1 racing cars of Cooper and Brabham. His best result was sixth place at the Grand Prix of Germany 1967. He totaled a championship point.

After the end of his career as a racing driver, he was a designer. His company Automobiles Ligier manufactures since 1969 Automobile and is involved in racing. Under the name Equipe Ligier one belonging to the parent company team from 1976 to 1996 was active in Formula 1. Outside of racing, the company is known mainly because of the small vehicles that also bear the name Ligier.
